Right now the state of Tamil Nadu, and specifically Chennai, where my grandmother lives, they are experiencing one of the heaviest drinking water shortages we’ve seen in our life time. Outlying villages and communities that have minimal infrastructure are some of the most vulnerable.
In this age of capitalism, corruption and commodified drinking water this access to water seems to no longer be a human right.
Please take a moment to donate as little or as much as you like so we can build wells in communities that are most affected. 100% of donations made to drop4drop go directly to projects, who will build a sustainable water solution to the Allikuzhi community who are currently living without access to clean water.
