August Skydive · 31 August 2019 ·

By taking the leap to freefall at 125mph, youll help us raise £15,000 so we can continue our vital work to prevent homelessness in Reading.

Story

On 31st August, myself and several others will 'Take the Leap' quite literally, by performing a sponsored 10,000 feet free-fall tandem parachute jump on behalf of our work Charity Partners, Launchpad Reading.

Anyone who knows me will know what a huge personal achievement it will be to complete such a challenge.  Having been scared of flying for 44 years, one flight to Barcelona and back in April and now a Skydive, some will say I have progressed quickly!

For those who haven't heard of this amazing charity Launchpad is Reading's leading homelessness prevention charity.  They look to provide support for individuals, couples & families, as well as provide the vital information they need for those who don't have a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home.

It's a hard thought to bare, but absolutely anyone can find themselves in a situation where they are homeless or at risk of losing their home.

Your generous donations will go towards Launchpad's 3 key services, 1.  Prevent homelessness, 2 Provide homes, and 3. Rebuild Lives.

To help me over the edge, quite literally, and in order for me to make this incredible but scary jump, there is a goal that needs to be raised.  To make it to the £400 target would not only mean the world to me but to this amazing charity as well.  Please spare whatever you can to help me achieve this once in a lifetime goal and make sure you select 'Gift Aid' to add to the total.

All donations will be received graciously and are massively appreciated.  Thank you!!
