ZRSDP aims to help schools in rural Zimbabwe. By working with our local contacts in Zimbabwe, we direct our funds where we believe they will have the highest impact, providing materials for communities to build classrooms and furniture. Our hope to improve the learning environment in some of the poorest areas of the country.

Story

As you may have heard, we are spending Christmas climbing Kilimanjaro! The training is going well and we can usually be found trekking up Snowdon, doing squats and lunges in the gym or dashing up the 33 flights of stairs in the office! Although success is not guaranteed, in order to inspire us on the 5,895m climb, we would really appreciate a donation to our chosen charity, the Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme (ZRSD). As you may know, Allison is very passionate about her homeland and ZRSD is doing some fantastic work helping to educate local children in Zimbabwe's rural areas.   http://www.zrsdp.org/

The trek begins in Moshi, Tanzania on December 22nd, with the summit awaiting us on Boxing Day. Please think of us while you are eating your Christmas lunch as we will be feasting on watery porridge and altitude sickness tablets!

Many thanks for your contributions, and fingers crossed that we make it to the summit. We look forward to sharing the photos and stories with you in the new year.
