Although I am not currently fundraising for any specific event I am continuing to raise funds for IIH UK in order to raise awareness of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) across the UK and the world. This cause is very close to my heart - I was diagnosed with IIH in August of 2011 and the condition has changed my life quite drastically.

I am currently recovering from a major operation to insert a lumbar-peritoneal shunt into my spine which will automatically drain the excess cerebrospinal fluid from my brain.

Once I am back up to working condition I hope to get back into my much-missed hobby of running (I ran my first 5K in the June before my diagnosis!) and once that is back on track you can be sure all of my races and personal goals will appear on this page as unique fundraising challenges.
