In their 30th year, Turning Tides have launched their biggest SleepOut yet to bring the realities of homelessness closer; everyone can join and make a stand committed together to ending homelessness. The event will be on Saturday 18th June.

Story

Turning Tides is the largest provider of support for homeless men and women in West Sussex. For over 28 years, the charity has continued to grow and develop a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of those accessing their support. Turning Tides believe that everyone has the right to a home and supports people at every stage in their journey out of homelessness. The charity brings together compassionate individuals and organisations who work tirelessly to transform the lives of people in the local community.

YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE:

£3: is a hot breakfast for someone sleeping rough, for some,
the only hot meal of the day

£12: provides someone with a morning in our Hub with
breakfast, hot shower, clean clothes taking their first steps out of homelessness

£25: helps someone regain a sense of self-worth through
healthcare and counselling

£70: pays for our Support Workers to provide advice,
guidance and support – from housing and benefit applications to CV writing and
training courses

£100: pays for one day of Outreach Services in Horsham and
Mid Sussex, engaging rough sleepers with our services

The children who live at Allium House will be having their own Big Summer Sleepout to support Turning Tides. Each child will be camping out in the garden to raise money and support for Turning Tides.
