Canterbury Diocese stretches from Maidstone to Thanet, the Isle of Sheppey to the Romney Marsh and includes 334 churches, 103 schools and a University with a Church of England foundation. Whilst the Archbishop of Canterbury is the bishop, oversight of the diocese is delegated to the Bishop of Dover.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This Church has stood here serving the community of Staplehurst for 800 years, through times of national and personal happiness and tragedy. We are asking if you would help us continue the work of God in this community.

The costs of running this church are around £2400 per week. Included in this are the church heating, lighting and water, running the office and administration, providing supplies (like candles and communion wine) for services, and of course the costs of training ministers and maintaining a dedicated rector.
