For my 50th birthday year I am taking part in several fundraising events in memory of many friends who were not lucky enough to reach their 50th birthday. As well as those family & friends who are still going through treatment. Primarily for Breast cancer care 

April 8th - 66mile New forest Sportive

May 6th - Welsh Carten 106 mile cycle from Cardiff to Tenby

June 3rd  My first triathlon. Blenheim triathlon. Come, bring a picnic and enjoy the 'scenery'  

July - The tough Welsh Velothon 89mile closed road event riding up into the Welsh hills.  Nearly broke me last year....

Sept 9th -20th The biggest challenge - JOHN o GROATS to Lands end 1023 mile cycle. Women V Cancer ride.  Feel free to join me en route

Oct -  And finally my original birthday challenge - 540 Kms across Arizona - Grand Canyon to Vegas.

This cycle ride takes us on an incredible journey, starting at the ancestral lands of the Native American Navajo Nation in the iconic Grand Canyon – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Cycling through high desert, forested plateaus, canyon rims, historic towns, and unforgettable landmarks we will ride through parts of the famous Route 66 highway, finishing our amazing challenge in the spectacular city of Las Vegas. This incredible challenge allows us to immerse ourselves in the Wild West frontier and dive deep into its past culture to discover the beauty and grandeur the southwestern US is famous for, as well as experiencing the glitz and glamour of the famous Las Vegas
