Mile An Hour
Campaign by WWF-UK (RCN 1081247)
Nature needs you. Every second, every minute, every hour. Its time to make the most of your time. Reach your potential and do as much as you can for your health and nature.

Story

Guys: I've made a ghastly error. Back in January, when late February seemed many moons away, I signed up for a charity run: to run 20 miles (YES GUYS TWENTY) in 20 hours, one mile each hour, to challenge myself and raise money for the good work that WWF do. And then I forgot.

It transpires that this weekend is that weekend. Starting from 4am on Saturday morning (SHUDDER), I'll run a mile each hour for 20 hours. I shall hate it. The forecast says rain. I won't get any sleep until almost a full day later. I shall complain.

I have a modest fundraising target of £100, so if you can bear (BEAR, WWF, geddit) to lob me a fiver and help the charity that cares about ocean plastic, climate change and snow leopards, then I'll be forever grateful.

Nature needs us. Every second, every minute, every hour. I'm making the most of my time and reaching my potential to do as much as I can for my health and nature. I'm running one mile every hour, maximising the time in-between to raise money to fight for our world.
