Story

Thank you for visiting my just giving page.

At the start of December 2020 my father was suddenly taken from us due to an aortic aneurysm. My dad was a healthy and active man and had shown no symptoms previous to him passing. I am challenging myself to run at least 5K every day in April and May , a total of 61 days and a total of 305K to raise funds to help with the research into this silent killer. I have searched the internet for charity’s that deal with Aortic Aneurysms but there seems to be very little coverage for it. On searching I have found that Leicester University are raising money to help with the funding of their research into the matter so therefor I am raising money to help them.

It’s not just about raising money that I have challenged myself to do this. It is to hopefully raise more awareness and hopefully help other family’s and stop them from having the heartache that my family has had losing our Hero.

If you could donate even just 10p to help this cause I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you again for taking time out of your day to help a cause very close to mine and my family’s hearts.
