Prudential Ride 100

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2018 · 29 July 2018 ·
This Summer, July 29th I will be riding the Prudential Ride 100, a 100 mile bike ride on the London Olympic road race route, to raise awareness and show support for a true legend - Ian Rowe.
Ian and I met many years ago now, ironically on my first 'big' charity event. Now it's time to repay him by raising as much money as possible, and hope that everyone can rally around to show support for him too.
Ian was diagnosed with Acute Myeloblastic Leukaemia in early
2017, and throughout has had several ups and downs along the way, but has never once given up. he's shown true courageousness and to this day shows absolute bravery. This is all about raising support and something for him to focus on, even if he isn't riding himself... lazy!! Likewise to show support and strength for Ian, Lisa and family through this difficult time, everything we can do to help them I know they are hugely appreciate of.
The Anthony Nolan trust managed to find Ian a transplant in
2017 which saved his life. Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. They do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells, to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. They also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. They won’t stop until they save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings them closer to that day.
