So you all know I love a challenge but this is by far my biggest ever! Yes I am a runner, but before this, I had never run further than half marathon distance. I always said I’d do the full marathon one day and it appears now is the time! 

I am so proud to work for the MND Team in Leeds and I am running to raise money to build us a new centre. We desperately need new facilities that match the standard of care I believe we already provide. A centre that is welcoming and fit for purpose; allowing our patients and their families to come for support, advice, treatment and solace at the most difficult time of their lives.

Rob Burrow has shone a very bright light on the world of MND and has raised awareness of the condition and the suffering it causes. Without him and of course his amazing friend Kevin Sinfield, that I had the privilege of running with in 2021, we wouldn’t be where we are today. 

In short, I am doing this for every one of my patients, past, present and future. So if you have some spare pennies, please donate. Not for me, but for the MND community!
