Story
I'm late-diagnosed, lower support needs autistic, and I've found the UK's National Autistic Society's resources invaluable in helping me understand my condition, make the most of my strengths, and navigate life in a world that still has a ways to go to before it's truly set up for people like me to thrive.
I want to do my bit to support the work they do, so, this October—also my birthday month!—I'm taking on the 100 Miles in October challenge in support of the National Autistic Society.
The National Autistic Society supports the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families through specialist schools, campaigning for better rights and services, and helping organisations become more autism friendly. Their work is transforming lives and changing attitudes every day.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. Not only will it help keep me motivated throughout the challenge, but it will also support the National Autistic Society's work to create a society that works for all autistic people and their families.
Thank you for your support 💜
