Story
A Photography Workshop is one of the extremely popular experiences at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent UK. All levels of experience welcome. Advice on camera settings, developing your individual style of photography and lots of tips on how to improve, will be given throughout the day. You will leave with lots of superb images and amazing memories of the Big and Small Cats. For more info: https://www.thebigcatsanctuary.org (experiences) https://www.almaleaper.co.uk (workshops).
All donations from the start have been numbered. One number has been chosen by our Director of Cats & Conservation, Giles Clark (BBC2 Big Cats about the House). The lucky winner will now be notified and receive a personal message and a Voucher from Giles. A date will be arranged, with me (BCS Lead Photographer) for the winner to attend a 1:1 Photography Workshop at a mutually convenient date. The winner will soon give permission to share their details on Social Media.
As a fully registered conservation charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary relies on personal big cat experiences, overnight stays and donations to fund its Welfare, Breeding, Education and Conservation work. The COVID-19 virus is already placing a huge amount of pressure on our small team to find funding and continue to provide the best of care for our animals, so we are asking you to please consider continuing to donate to our Big Cat Support Fund. This page closes at midnight. 25th May.
It is always our priority to keep our cats happy and healthy, however, it costs us around £3,000 a day to do this, and this is without any funding for vital conservation work! With the closure of our site to all pre-booked personal experiences, overnight stays and events during this pandemic, we need to ask for support. This amount covers cost of food, vet treatment, animal husbandry, bedding and the vital team members we need to care for our animals on a daily basis.
