On Saturday 27th August a group of us who are former service personnel will be pushing a purpose made bed on a trailer from Loch Carron to Applecross on the West coast of Scotland, a distance of 19 miles which also takes in one of Britain's highest roads raising to a hight of 2053ft in 3.5 miles. And we'll be doing it in fancy dress!

The whole aim of this event is to raise money for Combat Stress a charity that supports those that have given so much! I have listed a couple of examples of the price that they have paid below:-
"It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. The Combat Stress provides help and support to those who as a result of their service suffer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many of these service men and women suffer in silence, however this can also lead to other social issues, such has being homeless and drink and drug related, all of which is as a link to their PTSD.
We want to the Combat Stress so they can help those who have given so much." Please help us to raise money for those who have given their everything.Thank You
