Story

Thank you for visiting the online donations page for the 2009 ALMA Lent Appeal - Living Water.

With offline donations from parishes and individuals still coming in, we are well on track to meet our target.

Living Water will fund water and sanitation projects in the Diocese of London's partner dioceses in Angola and Mozambique. The sum collected will be divided equally between the partner dioceses.

In the words of Richard Chartres, Bishop of London:

"We continue our advocacy for the Millennium Development Goals and work alongside our partners in Angola and Mozambique where lack of access to water and sanitation in rural and urban areas runs counter to the abundant life and living water the Gospel of Jesus promises."

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  LDF (Lent Appeal for ALMA) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please give generously now!
