Al Markaz ul Islami Masjid, was established in August 2010 (Ramadhan 1431) to serve and cater for the needs of religious and general welfare needs of the local Muslim community. Over a period of less than two years Al Markaz ul Islami has embarked on various projects and has developed more facilities:

* A Madrassa for evening Quranic Classes (Currently over 150 children)

* Weekend Madrassa (Aalim course, 40 students)

* Tajweed for Beiginners 30 Students

* Dhikr gathering every Friday continues to grow over 100 people participate

* Jumma prayers, Nikkah services, Islamic consultancy etc

Al Markaz ul Islami has got its roof repaired and windows replaced. Currently there is two primary projects that need immediate attention:

* Creation of a separate ablution (wudhu) area for males and females

* Installation of Heating

In Order for Al Markaz ul Islami to begin these projects we have a target of £100,000, we are requesting every body to raise through donations or fundraising activities. Please present this appeal to your friends, family and work colleagues and request their assistance also.
