Hi everyone,

Firstly, thank you for visiting our page and taking a few minutes out of your day to hear our story.

We are going to be running the Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Half Marathon on June 19th. Although at first it was a bit impulsive, we put our heads together and decided to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Lucy's father, Adam Scott, has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure. It is a quick onset condition which requires a major lifestyle change. Choosing the British Heart Foundation was a result of showing our support for the family. We have become increasingly aware of how this can take you by surprise.

Even though this money may not go to Adam directly, we truly believe that our actions can make a change and contribute to the greater well being of people in a similar situation.
