After attending numerous incidents where the air ambulance have been in attendance and undoubtably saving the life of the patient at the scene and then  finding out that they receive no government funding and operate on purely the generosity of the public-we want to do our bit and raise some money by 5 us from Alpha team running 10k (6.21 miles) in full ARV uniform (which weighs around an extra 20ish kilograms on top of our normal uniform) around the grounds of our HQ building in June.  It’s going to be hot and sweaty! 🥵
