We are a Sheltered Accommodation provider who deeply care for all of our residents and often come across some residents who may be diagnosed with dementia. Lots of our staff have also experienced family members being identified with this illness and how it has totally changed their lives. We want to raise awareness and contribute to the wonderful work that Dementia UK do.   We are also hoping that all of us can reach our 100th birthday party!

We will walk to eleven developments we have across The Wirral where our residents live. The total walk will be 18 miles and we aim to do it within 10 hours. Alpha staff, residents, friends and families are taking part in this challenge walk. We all have different level of fitness but this will bring us all together to assist the research to combat dementia.
