We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One of my best friends was diagnosed with Leukeamia in 2012 at the totally unfair age of 42. Mark is a fantastic bloke, you couldn't not love him. Heart of gold, full of laughs, a grafter, makes things happen, loves the good things in life. No way does he deserve to get this nasty disease. Does he dwell on it? No way. Mr Positivity throughout, Mark gets on with treatment and focusses on the future. As part of planning his recovery, we decided to get a group together to cycle the climbs of the Tour de France in summer 2013. Everything went to plan through all the chemo and Mark was told he was in remission at the start of the year. Brilliant news, now it's time to live, time to ride our bikes! Tragically, within three months the cancer was back and Mark is now back in treatment and he won't be on the trip to the Alps. The rest of the group will be though, and we want to put something back by fund raising for the charity Leukeamia and Lymphoma Research.

Please dig deep and support this wonderful charity that is helping Mark and so many people like him. Thank You.
