Story
I am asking anyone who can to help us raise much needed funds by
doing a ride, walk, run or climb or anything else that's epic to help Children in the UK.
Times are hard for everyone so anything you can do is super appreciated. It should be fun and challenging, and I’m sure there is something we can all do!
I'm that blind guy who cycled 4811 miles round the British Coastline in 31 days last year.
This year starting August 11th I'm doing an Alternative 3 Peaks Challenge. HIke, Cycle, Hike, Cycle Hike! Then in September I'm taking part in the Ride Across Britian raising money for Save the Children. https://www.rideacrossbritain.com/
My itinerary will look something like this (updates will be on Instagram @Gavinttowers) :
Thursday: Snowdon + 93 miles (7am-7pm)
Friday: 98 miles + Scafell (7am-7pm)
Saturday: 160 miles (7am-7pm)
Sunday: 77 miles + Ben Nevis (7am-7pm)
If you want to join us on the day(s) or do the same challenge at your own pace let us know, we can send you our route and a link to the fund raising page where we’ll be asking everyone to donate.
For those who are interested in the alternative 3 Peaks we can send you the routes with plenty of motivation!
In September it will be back to Lands End to embark on another LEJOG this time completing the journey in 9 days.
There is plenty of time to get organised. Reach out and keep updated on instagram @gavinttowers or my website www.gavintowerscycling.com
Please direct everyone who wants to help you to this donation page, it would be great to smash our target.
I look forward to seeing you on the road or mountain or seeing your own epic efforts.
