You want to live in a city that welcomes asylum seekers and refugees. You want refugees to be supported and receive the kind of friendship that you cherish yourself.

Yet we live in a land of front page Daily Mail and Daily Express headlines. Every headline makes it less likely that people get the welcome you hope for. It feels upsetting and you want to help send a warmer welcome. You believe that people deserve practical support. They deserve a welcoming, safe place to meet, relax and find out about our city.
