On 28th September 2013 Rhys lost his fight against Lupus. Aged just 36 years old Rhys had fought heart and kidney problems. Rhys never complained about his illness and he found time to help and support others. So a group of his closest friends are riding from Snowdonia in North Wales on 22nd November to New Inn in South East Wales finishing on 24th November. We are doing this to remember Rhys but also to raise awarenes of Lupus and to raise vital funds for the LUPUS UK charity.

I will be driving the support vehicle and not actually cycling myself but thought I could still raise some much need funds with your help for this very worthwhile and personally important cause
