The Transaid London to Paris Challenge · 22 September 2017 to 25 September 2017 ·

Transaid transforms lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport. As an international development organisation that shares transport expertise with partners and governments, Transaid empowers people to build the skills they need to transform their own lives.

Story

Thank you for getting as far as my JustGiving page! It would be great if you could go just a little further and read the full story below and perhaps a little donation...

Following my marathon in April for the same cause this is the second of my Paris challenges for Transaid in 2017:

On the 22nd of September, myself and 3 colleagues (Ian MacAulay, Tom Callow & Harry Stewart) from the DHL Asset Management Team will be embarking on an epic 3 day, 240 mile cycle challenge from London to Paris in support of Transaid.

Completing this event will take a big team effort, that will require large amounts of determination, energy and chamois cream. It will though be for a great cause as we'll be supporting Transaid, for whom I'm proud to say I have been an official ambassador for two years now.

Transaid is an international development organisation that transforms lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport. In the last 12 months alone they have: -

  • Helped 8,470 women and children access health care services in Zambia, Uganda, Nigeria and Madagascar
  • Trained 5,929 PSV, HGV and FLT drivers in Zambia and Tanzania and 24 driver trainers
