Having had the privilege of being involved in a school build project in Nepal 2 years ago, I felt a sense of purpose, opportunity and joy from the children who were to benefit. I beleive one of the many blessings of human life is to have immovable obstacles placed in front of us and to build the strength and courage to go through, around or over them. It always helps to have a helping hand. Therefore, I feel Kilimanjaro summiting  can be a metaphor for the challenges underprivileged children face in accessing education. By raising funds to help the wonderful Parenta Trust, I feel not only will I be attempting to summit a pretty large immovable object, but at the same time be helping some wonderful young humans to do the same.
