I lost my nana to breast cancer over 20 years ago and there isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about her or miss her.  I participated in this walk a few years ago and this might sound crazy but I felt her with me every step of the way. She helped me through the pain and carried me across the finishing line.  The experience was amazing and having gone through a few years of ill health myself I want to experience the thrill of the experience of the walk again.

Training is beginning now and having only just recovered from my last operation it's going to be a slow and steady process but I am determined to get fit again and finish this walk, hopefully with ease, in memory of a fantastic lady.  I so want to make her proud of me.
