Operation Christmas Box, formerly uk4u, makes sure that all unaccompanied Service personnel who are away at Christmas, receive a box full of goodies, as a gift from the nation, wherever in the world. "Thank you, your gift was a pleasant surprise & definitely made my Christmas a lot merrier!"

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After years of non communication with my Dad we were finally reconciled in 2006 when he was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer.  My dad died in October 2007.Watching an active walker, and runner rendered incapacited and unable to walk unaided is all the inspiration I need to train and hopefully, if I can stay clear of injury, run the London Marathon.

My dad was a serving soldier and I myself have worked for the military in both the UK and Germany. I have many close friends who have served both at home and overseas.

I wanted to chose a small charity that represented service personnel and I would like to thank my friend Debbie for recommending this particular charity.

No matter how much or little you donate it will ensure that all service personnel overseas will receive a little something otherwise known as the 'square stocking' to open on Christmas Day.

Thank You
