I will be trekking at altitudes of over 4500m in the Lares mountains of Peru, culminating in a trek along the Inca Trail to the very beautiful and spiritual Machu Picchu, the setting of one of my all time favourite books the Celestine Prophecy.

I am raising money for the Log Cabin Charity, a disability charity which is co-located with the Children Centre where I work. We are raising money to extend the outside facilities and create an enclosed playground and sensory garden for younger children which will  complement the existing adventure playground.
