A Really Good Night In 2013 · 26 April 2013 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have set up this page in memory of a girl so spectacular i cant quite express just how special she was to so many people.lynne was my oldest most dearest friend and i plan on doing as much fundraising as possible this year so im doing a 5k run along with a really great night in. my brother was diagnosing with hodgkins lymphoma last year and he has been givien the all clear very recently, along with my father in law who was diagnosed with oral cancer. just shows you what all this fundraising can do. so lets all dig deap and show our support to macmillan cancer support
Lynne was diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis which is a rare genetic disorder which eventually caused her to have stage 4 incurable bowel cancer.
Lynne battled this awful disease right to the end, not only did she amaze doctors, friends and family with her determination, fight and strength but she really did take it all in her stride, not letting a single bad day get her down. Lynne was trully an inspirational person, when she could barely walk she helped raise £9000 for epilepsy scotland in a daring firewalk! she loved life and lived everyday to the fullest, always surrounded by so many people that loved her for the beautiful soul that she was.
One of the most wonderful things about lynne was she spent so much of her time caring for others, so time to give something back and what better way than to all get together and have a drink on lynne and raise as much as we can for macmillan xx
I am not my disease/disability, i am me, and i am a superhero!!!
