I am taking part in this race in order to raise funds for the Ocean Stars Trust. The trust is helping a pre-school in Sri Lanka which is twinned with PK's - a local pre-school both my children attend. Ocean stars have been working hard for the last 5 years to build the pre-school for the Sri Lanken children and sadly, along with others, it has been wiped out by the recent floodings. They now need to pick up the pieces and start again.
