Sammy Keswick and Skye Hopetoun had the idea that we do the Caledonian Challenge together, and we have now roped in our husbands and Harry Burnham. It will be a test of stamina and endurance for us all to complete the course in the allotted time . I think Allegra would approve .

Unfortunately since signing up Jason has broken his ankle and shoulder in a skiing accident . He will be out of the cast and more mobile by June 11th so has kindly agreed to be our support team bringing us food and water at the check points. He is very frustrated not to be able to take part.

Allegra was Amanda's beautiful goddaughter, she died very suddenly 16 days after her 16th birthday. Allegra was someone who lived and loved life every day. She was always smiling, she was passionate about sport, and she packed something into every minute of the day. She encouraged others and was, and continues to be, an inspiration for many young people who knew her. Allegra's Ambition has been set up to help other young people develop the same positive attitude for life that Allegra espoused through participation in sport and the enjoying of the outdoors. The charity has no set-up or on-going administrative costs, as these will all be covered by Allegra's family. Therefore every penny raised will go to helping others.
