Story
I know everyone is after your money.
And we are in struggling economic times.
And you really can't be expected to give money to everyone you know who can run a couple of miles.
But hey - everyone likes a tryer...
In a couple of months, I will be running the Great North Run (13.1 miles) hoping to raise as much money as I can for the Alzheimer's Society. This charity seeks to research alzheimers and other forms of dementia and provides help and support for those affected by this disease.
Any support you are able to offer will be extremely gratefully received. I shall leave you with a few deep thoughts from some good friends of mine...
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Winston Churchill
“Good actions give strength to ourselves and inspire good actions in others.” Plato
“A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog.”...
Ha well if that hasn't swung it, I don't know what will!
Thanks very much for your support.

And now for the small print..."Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
