Holly Hedge rescues and rehomes around 800 animals a year. These animals arrive at the shelter abandoned, fearful, broken in spirit and body, some with resulting behavioural issues, some who have never known the comfort of a loving home, and they make them a promise that they will have much brighter futures. Holly Hedge gives animals food, warmth, any veterinary care and training or rehabilitation they need, and do their utmost to show them they can trust people and love again.

Hey everyone, hollyhedge animsl sanctuary is close to my heart, so wondered if you could help please
My friend and I came up with this idea after hearing that many of the charity's events to raise money for their animals have had to be cancelled due to the lockdown..
So I'm asking if as many of us as possible.. atleast 26.. surely I have 26 friends with dogs?!?! lol Connect with their social media groups and friends and possibly get 26 of them to walk their dogs 2.6 miles? If each one would donate £1 ( or more if they want.. (but was thinking this is hard times for us all so a £1 hopefully is manageable to most.. ) then with any luck we might be able to raise a little amount for holleyhedge? Perhaps you could set up your own just giving page for them to donate..? If that's 26 of us getting 26 of our friends donating £1.. (well I cant do maths lol) Even if u cant get 26friends maybe just 4 friends that have 5 dogs to walk and 1friend with 6dogs?! Lol😂 and obviously pictures would be nice! It might be a bit late to organise but perhaps we could all do it on the 26th April?! let's do this!!
