Hi there friends

Some of you may know that last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I finished all my treatment last September and have recently been given the all clear - and wowee I feel so well!

The NHS were amazing.  I can't thank all the staff enough for everything they did for me and the brilliant care I received.  But I was also supported by several charities, and I'd like to give something back to them.

So for this race, I'm hoping to raise some money for Breast Cancer Care.  I leaned heavily on their sensible and helpful advice throughout my treatment, and felt like they were there for me throughout (and still are).
