Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

originally I wanted to take a trip to Machu Picchu and stand facing the sunrise as I reached the magical age of 50

work and lack of preparation scampered my project  but always one for a PLAN B  my Bessie mate Sheila Powell wanted to do a parachute jump so I said what the heck lets do it together

I've thought of all the worth while causes in this world and decided to stick close to home , we live in the most fantastic part of England

anyone who has not visited some part of Dartmoor has not lived

but it's  not always a forgiving place and over the course of a  year many people need to be rescued

We salute the dedicated men and women who keep us all safe , not only on the moors but have helped search for lost relatives suffering health problems day and night , given their time and experience abroad during natural disasters  and ever year without fail watch over the boys and girls as they achieve their goal of gaining their Duke of Edinburgh  TEN TORS challenge

so before my 50th year ends I want to do something useful please help me support this essential charity
