Unfortunately my mum has had 2 strokes within the last year which have left her with speech/communication problems and memory and concentration problems. The stroke association have been a huge support to my mum and the family. My mum goes to meetings on a weekly basis were shes made many new friends who are stroke survivors like  herself and also recieves support and help with her speech and memory. Has a family we can not thank the stoke association enough and have seen a huge improvement in my mums ability to speak and also in her confidence to speak to others.

On the 16th of May 2012 i am entering a sponsored event called 'STEP out' at the millennium stadium were i will be walking laps of the pitch to raise monies for the stroke association. Any sponsorship would be gratefully recieved.
