Story

Amanda, Duncan, Richard, Alan and Patrick are all taking part in RideLondon 100 Essex for the charity Sight for Surrey and decided to set up a joint fundraising page. Amanda and Richard are visually impaired and both have their own tandems. Duncan is going to pilot Amanda on her tandem and Alan is going to pilot Richard.

The reason why we chose Sight for Surrey is that they have been so supportive giving white cane training to Amanda to help her be so much more independent in Oxted. Alan’s mum has also benefited from the charity and she receives their newsletter to keep her updated as to the charity’s work. Sight for Surrey is a small charity and gives life changing support to people with sight and hearing loss. Our sponsorship will make a real difference to the charity.

We are all looking forward to the ride as well as the training we will need to complete for the big day. It is a great route for tandems as the bulk of the route is very flat. Please dig deep and sponsor us on this epic challenge.

Thank you from Amanda, Duncan Richard, Alan and Patrick
