Hello

I became a Trustee of PARC almost two years ago and this year am fortunate to have been given one of their gold bond places to run the London Marathon. I will be running with my husband Andy who is also supporting PARC and a couple of other similar charities for disabled children.

This is one of our twin sons Joshua who is three. He has cerebral palsy, is profoundly deaf and has chronic lung disease but the best smile in the world! Josh needs constant support, he is totally reliant on someone for all aspect of daily living, he can not even sit unaided. He is a sunny happy bright little boy so needs constant support to help him develop and given opportunities other children have. They say he will never walk or talk, but we say never say never.

Living with a child like Josh is extremely hard work and we know only too well the tremendous support and benefits that PARC gives hundreds of children and families like ours who desperately need outside help with our children to survive daily living.
