On 23rd May I’m hosting a Knitathon at my craft shop, Craftopia, in Yorkshire, to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Charity, in memory of my darling daughter, Jenny.

Jenny was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2013, when she was 15 years old. For the next 4 years she had a series of surgeries and treatments but nothing could halt the progress of the cancer. On 13th May 2017 Jenny died, in my arms, at our home in Manchester. She never stopped fighting this disease and living her life to the full. She taught me so much, during those 4 years, about bravery and love. 

I know that a lot of you won’t be able to come to the Knitathon for geographical reasons, but will want to help us raise lots of money for the Brain Tumour Charity, so I’m setting up this Just Giving page. 

Please help this wonderful charity make sure that other families won’t lose their loved ones.
