Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our lovely daughter Amanda was diagnosed with a glioblastoma tumour in June 2010 at the age of 39. Despite surgery, radiotherapy and chemo treatment she lost her battle on the 06th November 2010.

She leaves two beautiful children Ella and Tom and their dad Craig.

Brain Tumour Research is woefully underfunded. Brain tumours kill more children and people under 40 years of age than leukaemia or any other cancer, but gets limited funding. Only 12% of males and 15% of females survive beyond 5 years (compared to 50% for all cancers).

All money raised will go to Brain Tumour Research. Thank you for your donations.
