100km Trek to raise money for Mental Health · 1 March 2020

Founded under the Patronage of Nelson Mandela, Laureus Sport for Good uses sport as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage in their lives through a global network of partners in the Sport for Development community.

Story

Laureus Sport for good is a charity that passionately believes that sport unites us all and is helping to address the many social challenges facing children and young people around the world today.

There is a growing body of evidence to show the benefits that regular physical exercise has on both physical and mental health. These developments are crucial in reducing stigma and building resilience in the face of difficulties.

All funds raised on Challenge New Zealand 2020 will go towards programmes in the Laureus Sport for Good network that work towards improving young people's mental and well-being.
