Many people struggle with symptoms of Tourettes on a daily basis. This was recently highlighted by Lewis Capaldi at Glastonbury. My daughter has Tourettes. Every day is a challenge...not just trying to manage her tics, both vocal and motor but also having to deal with comments from those she encounters who either don't understand the condition or don't consider the impact their comments have. Daisy is incredibly resilient: she won't stop her tics from letting her take part in activities, regardless of how difficult they can be to manage. Many things that trigger her tics are out of her control: a dog barking, alarm going off, even someone whistling! 

I want to raise awareness of the condition in the hope it will increase people's understanding.
