After a tough year of being indoors, lets get out, have some fun and raise some funds to support those in need.

Story

MLSS has acquired a community hub for the local community, where people of all ages are able to socialise, participate in activities that will help alleviate mental health issues and also provide a place to exercise safely. It would be wonderful to see the community connecting to make a difference. Unity is strength. With classes such Boxing, Tai Chi, yoga, meditation, personal trainer, Music room, coffee and chat room, walking club, reading club and many more these are open to all ages, backgrounds and abilities.MLSS has been stretched to the max over the past year, with projects here in the UK delivering food packages to the vulnerable alongside maintaining the daily feeds for the homeless in over 20 different locations.

Midland Langar Seva Society has expanded exponentially over the last 5 years, with us now working successfully across all major cities to offer support to over 30,000+ needy people throughout the UK. We've also managed to form valuable links with fantastic charities, businesses and government / religious organisations, who are now working alongside us to combat homelessness and make a better Britain.

As a result of the handwork in the UK, MLSS has successfully put projects abroad and subsequently the ‘West Midlands’ on the world map. MLSS are now also operating in Germany, and made regular trips to Greece, France and recently Bangkok, Thailand.

MLSS have progressed in the Punjab region of India, serving individuals and families who have been abandoned, displaced or become refugees, providing free education, clothing and support including their families.

In September 2017 MLSS provided assistance in marrying couples from poor backgrounds providing them with memorable days and a means of earning a honest living.

MLSS relies on donations from generous individuals, corporations and the public to support the charity and requires constant revenue generation. Any donation received can be directed to our UK or World projects. MLSS do not pay any volunteers. Any donation is greatly received just as important please get in touch with us so you can also experience this service. MLSS is truly humbled by this opportunity presented and we move forward together with your support.

Langar is the term used in the Sikh religion or in Punjab for general or common kitchen / canteen where food is served for free, without prejudice regardless of race, religion, and background.
