Dear friends and family, this saturday I am about to set out on probably the most painful journeys of my life as part of the Northerncyclone cycling challenge. This will involve tackling 104 miles of beautiful but rather hilly Northumberland country roads. I hope that by completing this task I will be able to raise money for the local Oesophageal and gastric Cancer Unit which has been working hard over the last few years to promote the awareness of oesophageal and stomach cancer - www.oesophagoose.org - Any contribution you can make will be of great benefit and will be appreciated very much.
