Barretstown is a children's charity based in Kildare which supports those impacted by serious childhood illness. Each year they rely on fundraisers and donations to offer medically endorsed camps to children and their families which help to relight the spark of fun and joy that is often dimmed by childhood illness.

Having volunteered with the team behind the big red door for a few years I know first hand the pure magic a visit to camp can be and because of this I wanted to do something to support them during a time when their normal fundraising activities have come to a halt!

So on May 24th 2020 I'll be donning my runners and running/ jogging/ walking (and probably crawling by the end) to cover the 42.2km of a marathon over the course of the day. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and will go a long way to supporting Barretstown and all they do.
