Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many who know me know my story and why I support East Lancs Hospice.

East Lancs Hospice is a charity very close to me, my family's, and many of my friends hearts, as we lost a very close friend of ours Teresa Cole, who spent her last days under the care of East Lancs Hospice.

Since then we have done a number of events to help raise funds to allow East Lancs hospice to continue to provide the support that they do, my last one being the Pain Barrier 10K Mud Run where I raised £347.88,  and even though the amount raised is only a fraction of what they require to run, every little bit helps.

This year I want to go bigger and better, so instead of making resolutions and the usual "I'm going to make this change", I am setting myself a year long goal to raise £2017 in 2017. I will be doing a number of running events, the first being East Lancs own 10K run, we will be doing the Pain Barrier again this year, and there are a number of other events that given the opportunity I will be looking to attend, so I will keep that updated as the year goes by.

Many of us will have had somebody close to us or know somebody who has somebody close who has been suffering and needed the support from the likes of East Lancs Hospice, So please I ask of everybody, please donate and help me get to my target, if you can give a lot that's awesome, if you can give just a little then that's great too, as every little bit helps. Please share this and also please check out East Lancs Hospice online at www.eastlancshospice.org.uk, to find out more about the support they provide and any other events being held.
