We believe rhinos are magnificent. And they are endangered. To survive, they need a safe and diverse world. Yet today, they face immense threats. With your fundraising and donations, we can work alongside expert partners and move closer towards our vision: for all rhino species to thrive.

Story

I am running a fundraiser (5K) with some of my amazing Animal Management students, who are helping me practice running (dressed as a rhino) and who are keen to help raise money for these awesome animals. The funds from this will go towards all monies raised for the Hackney Half marathon

Rhinos are at a crisis point. Today, three of the five species of rhino are Critically Endangered, meaning they face an extremely high chance of extinction in the wild; two of these species have fewer than 80 animals surviving. We can halt and eventually reverse the twin threats of poaching and habitat loss so that no species of rhino are at risk of extinction. At the heart of this work is supporting the people tasked with monitoring and protecting the rhinos, ensuring they have the resources they need to work safely and effectively.
