Amber Matthews - 21st Birthday!

Amber Matthews is raising money for Parkinson's Care and Support UK

Celebrating the birthday of Amber Matthews

on 26 October 2020

Every hour two people are told they have Parkinson's. It can affect anyone and there is currently no cure. We work tirelessly to improve quality of life for people with Parkinson's and their carers, whilst funding non-pharmaceutical research to prevent, slow down, reverse and cure Parkinson's.

Story

It's always been my dream to skydive and it's my 21st Birthday!

Not only do I think this is an exciting opportunity, I also want to raise money for an important cause that's close to my heart. I sadly lost my Grandad this time last year to Parkinson's so feel a skydive is an incredible way to celebrate his life.

All donations will be hugely appreciated - thank you!

Lots of love, Amber xx

Here is some more information about the charity:

Every hour two people are told they have Parkinson's. It can affect anyone and there is currently no cure. We aim to ensure that people live well for as long as possible with the condition, whilst funding non-pharmaceutical research to help prevent, slow down progression and reverse Parkinson’s. We provide FREE exercise, respite care, neurological physiotherapy, information, advice, support groups and are developing a CBT Helpline to help people with Parkinson's that are suffering with anxiety and depression.
