Thanks for taking the time to visit the Amboriginals, EllenorLions Hospice, JustGiving page.
Our challenge is three fold:
- The first part is to undertake a journey of epic proportions; to travel 10,000 miles around the globe from London to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, by road, track and desert.
- The second part of the challenge is to raise as much money as possible to help support our chosen charities, doing fantastic work at home and in our eventual destination.
- The final part of the challenge is that our vehicle, a fully functioning GMC ambulance, stocked with essential medical supplies, will be delivered to a deserving home in one of the most remote parts of the planet.
The second of our two selected Charities, EllenorLions provide specialist care for adults and young people from the age of 14 who have progressive life threatening illnesses. Admission can be for a short stay or to provide end of life care. They are heavily dependant on donations and fund raising to continue making a difference to people with terminal illness at the end of life. The tremendous work done by the staff at the hospice has been witnessed recently at first hand by one of our team members. They provided an un-paralleled level of support and comfort to one of our team's grandmother and family during her fight with terminal cancer.
