Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To help launch the Chestnut's Challenge campaign, I am taking on my own challenge of cycling from Worthing Pier to Brighton Pier on Sunday 27th September.  Not only will it be a personal challenge, but one of our supporters has challenged me to do this and has pledged to donate an amazing £11,500 to Chestnut Tree House children's hospice if I complete the challenge!

The hospice cares for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over Sussex.  Families are never charged for their care yet it costs around £2 million each year to provide this vital service.  Chestnut Tree House receives less than 10% of its funding from the goverment which is why it relies on fundraising events and activities to keep its doors open - a huge challenge in itself!

So, my challenge to you is to help me complete my challenge and to help Chestnut Tree House at the same time!

Thank you!
